Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The Ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.


Preferred Location: Indianapolis, IN.
 

The Actuarial Analyst III will complete very diverse and complicated projects and performs very complex actuarial studies.

How you will make an impact:

Insources Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment Analytics from vendors. Analyzes and implements risk contracts including conducting experience analyses, pricing, filing and settlement work; and prepares management reports supporting new capitation initiatives. Assists in training of actuarial trainees, analysts and specialists. Coordinates/directs special actuarial projects.

Minimum requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and to have passed a minimum of four Society of Actuaries (SOA) actuarial exams and a minimum of 3 years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred skills, capabilities, and experiences:


Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid Risk Adjustment experience is strongly preferred.

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy.
