Utilizing consumer insights and analytical data, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of several impactful strategic projects related to Humana's offerings aimed at enhancing membership retention.
Your role will involve collaboration with various cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, sales, member experience, and clinical services to foster the advancement of data-driven insights.
Throughout the business cycle, you will advocate for retention strategies and communicate new approaches and developments to senior management across the organization.
In partnership with the AVP, you will establish retention-specific objectives and key results (OKRs) and drive progress with the assistance of 1-2 consultants or strategists.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the comprehensive Medicare retention strategy across product, marketing, sales, and member experience.
- Crafting high-quality analyses and deliverables that clearly define objectives, challenges, and present insightful findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Formulating hypotheses to be validated or refined through targeted research and analysis, including industry, competitor, and financial assessments to support retention strategies.
- Conducting interviews, facilitating working sessions, and preparing executive presentations for company leaders.
- Managing a portfolio of strategic projects and pilots aimed at improving member retention outcomes.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and leaders throughout the organization.
- Providing leadership and development opportunities for junior team members.

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of relevant full-time work experience.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented working style.
- Capacity to build and maintain trust with key business leaders and partners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct complex qualitative and quantitative analyses.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to quickly grasp new information and concepts; strong financial acumen and ability to synthesize insights and business performance.
- Experience in developing executive-level presentations that effectively influence change.
- Ability to conceptualize big ideas while bridging strategic vision with tactical execution and fostering consensus.
- Exceptional project management and organizational capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, MPH, PhD, or a graduate degree in a management-related field with outstanding academic credentials.
- Prior experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in managed care or provider sectors, with a solid understanding of Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid.
- Experience in consumer retention strategies.
Additional Information:
The Strategy Execution Principal position offers flexibility, with remote work options available.

Compensation:
The salary range provided reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time employment. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications.
Compensation range: $163,400 - $224,900 per year, with eligibility for a bonus incentive plan based on performance.
