The Role:

Reporting to the SVP & Head of Marketing Services, the Marketing Services Account Executive will serve as a key member of red violet’s go-to-market team and will be responsible for meeting pipeline and revenue objectives associated with the newly created Marketing Services business unit. This is an immediate opportunity for an experienced sales executive to introduce and evangelize a new suite of data-driven marketing solutions across multiple consumer industries including retail, financial services, travel & entertainment, insurance, auto, and real estate, with significant emphasis on the first three industries.


What You Will Do:

  • Leverage existing network to qualify, advance, and close Marketing Services deals.
  • Lead prospecting efforts to develop new leads and relationships via cold-calling, email campaigns, etc. in partnership with our internal marketing team.
  • Meet quarterly Marketing Services pipeline and revenue quota requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Marketing Services products via client feedback and communicate requirements to our internal product team.
  • Facilitate contract negotiations and fulfillment of client projects in partnership with internal legal, operational, and IT resources.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with 3rd party distribution partners and marketing ecosystem enablers (i.e. agencies, DMPs, etc.) as needed to support our Marketing Services customer base.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with a specific focus on data-driven marketing products.
  • Significant industry knowledge and current sales network in one or more of these B2C industries: Retail, Travel & Entertainment, Financial Services
  • Extensive relationships with marketing execs and other operational contacts that are users and/or buyers of data-driven marketing tools such as list appends, identity solutions, reverse email / phone services, event triggers, and consumer segmentation frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem and the interrelationships that exist between marketers, data aggregators, DMPs, DSPs, agencies, etc.
  • Proven track record of success in selling selling marketing services into multiple verticals including retail, insurance, auto, financial services, travel & leisure, and / or real estate.
  • Documented success in establishing and maintaining net-new relationships with executive-level contacts and buyers.
  • Capable of presenting solutions in the context of metrics commonly used by marketers to measure the effectiveness of a campaign (e.g. customer acquisition cost, response rate, retention rate, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication, planning, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work cross functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and operations to maximize deal conversion and client satisfaction rates.
  • BA/BS or higher degree is preferred.
  • Ability to travel 25%-50%.
