We are seeking a highly qualified Accounting Supervisor who will work closely with the CFO to manage the workload of the Accounting team. Direct responsibilities will include handling all Payroll, Expense Reports and supervising Accounts Payable. The Accounting Supervisor will assist with all weekly and monthly financial reporting, including bank reconciliations, general ledger analysis and other special projects as requested. Other duties include assisting with annual 1099 reporting, responding to various survey requests, and maintaining fixed asset/depreciation schedule. A high degree of professionalism, ability to learn new skills quickly and adapt to changing priorities are required. Must be detail oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Manage all Payroll (bi-weekly/semi-monthly and partner payrolls) Process Expense Reports for the firm Supervise firm and client cost related payables Daily bank reconciliations for various accounts, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations Weekly Tuesday Report for management Quarterly CNB compliance reports Quarterly Lobby reports Annual: o Pension plans annual remittance schedule, census and audit o State/Local taxes including city business taxes, property taxes o WC annual audit o Year-end schedules employee profit sharing calculation, partner deductible and non-deductible schedules, partner capital schedule o Departmental budget schedules o Assist with survey responses and other projects as needed PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in law firm environment. High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred. Real-world experience working with Microsoft Suite, Aderant, and automated payroll systems are a must. Position: Non-Exempt Location: Century City. 5 days onsite for the first 90-days, then 4 days per week onsite, 1 day remote thereafter. Salary: $95k - $100k base
