Position Summary
We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Revenue Accounting Supervisor. This role is crucial in managing all facets of revenue accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all revenue accounting activities, including month-end entries for Direct-to-Consumer and Retail revenue.
- Manage trade promotion accruals, returns reserves, gift card liabilities, commissions, and bad debt.
- Prepare schedules for quarter reviews and year-end audits, highlighting revenue-related trends and balances.
- Collaborate with the Finance team during month-end close meetings and perform variance analysis.
- Investigate variances and work with cross-functional teams to confirm amounts.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain documentation for supporting balances.
- Analyze trends in asset and liability accounts.
- Supervise the work of Staff and Senior Accountants to ensure timely close and audit processes.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in general accounting functions.
- Document key controls and collaborate with the SOX team for periodic testing of revenue transactions.
- Generate ad hoc reports for senior management as needed.
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines and foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- 7 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience, with a focus on revenue accounting.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, general accounting processes, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables; experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in public accounting.
- CPA certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with public company environments.
