The Corporate Controller oversees all corporate accounting functions and the corporate accounting team. This role maximizes return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Oversee the activities of the corporate accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly and quarterly financial statements, annual audits and annual budgets
  • Oversee the activities of the cash management, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, core employee expense reports, cash control, core payroll processing and total corporate tax compliance
  • Oversee the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash receipts application, etc.
  • Establishes and maintains systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company's value
  • Collaborates with EVP and President of Accounting for timely financial requests, cash forecasting and opportunities for improvement within the financials of the business
  • Participates in a wide variety of special projects and compiles a variety of special reports

SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Frequently sit, stand and walk
  • Regularly required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
  • Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary

This position is requested to be full-time in our beautiful Nashville corporate office. Our work schedule is flexible to allow you to bring your best self to your work and personal life.
