Sous Chef at Redtail Catering

Redtail Catering in San Marcos, CA is looking for one sous chef to join our 31 person strong team. We are located on 960 Rancheros Dr. Suite A&B. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Train and develop chefs to company standards
- Memorize and execute recipes efficiently
- Anticipate ingredient needs and arrange re-stock accordingly
- Ensure a productive kitchen flow that upholds business standards
Qualifications
- Experience working as a sous chef or chef
- High familiarity with kitchen equipment, processes, and health and safety guidelines
- Able to delegate tasks effectively and assist when needed
- Adaptable to high traffic and kitchen volume
Compensation
- $24 an hour base rate plus $3-5 per hour in tips

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $28.00/hour.
