ProspectBlue is partnered with a law firm looking to add a Office/Business Manager to their team in Richmond, Virginia.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop goals and objectives for company growth and prosperity.

Design and implement business plans and strategies to promote the attainment of goals.

Meet with Attorneys, and Managing Partner at least quarterly to discuss goals, objectives, ongoing issues, and marketing.

Advise Managing Partner of upgrades and technology improvements available.

Ensure that the company has adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities (e.g. people, material, equipment, etc.).

Maintain relationships with partners/clients, vendors, and suppliers.

Gather, analyze, and interpret external and internal data and reporting.

Assess overall company performance against objectives.

Handle all financial aspects for company.

Prepare monthly financial reports for clients.

Manage and maintain payroll and personnel files.

Assist with the oversight of the computer network and integrity of the same.

Maintain all books and corporate records for business.

Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Evaluate workflow processes, efficiencies, and problems to identify the most effective use of staff and material resources to meet work unit goals and project objectives in consultation with Managing Partner.

Supervise all office staff.

Assist with the recruitment, hiring, discipline, termination, and training of new employees.

Assist Managing Partner with marketing efforts including use of outside vendors.

Arrange for all staff training including: FDCPA, HIPAA, CFPB, and other outside training.

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations.
