Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory and Accreditation Manager to lead our Quality Assurance initiatives. This role will be critical in ensuring that GW Hospital meets or exceeds compliance standards and maintains accreditation from relevant regulatory bodies. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality care and patient safety.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead regulatory and accreditation processes, including preparation, implementation, and follow-up for surveys and inspections.
  • Monitor compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and other regulatory agency standards.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate quality assurance initiatives to maintain high standards of patient safety and care.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to ensure quality improvement efforts align with accreditation requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison to regulatory agencies and provide education to staff on regulatory compliance and standards.
  • Conduct internal audits and gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare quality assurance, accreditation, or regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Joint Commission and CMS regulations.
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing accreditation surveys and quality improvement projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and influence staff at all levels.
