Midway Rehabilitation Center has an IMMEDIATE need to hire DUTY OFFICERS to be responsible for the facility's supervision of Federal inmates and more. No experience is necessary. Excellent training is provided. Applicants will work on a three person team with 14 days off per month which includes two 4 day weekends per month Apply NOW for this great opportunity and join our team

Responsibilities - Duty Officer:

  • Responsible for the direct supervision, care, custody, tracking, and control of Federal inmates
  • Responsible for the daily operations, safety, and order of the facility.
  • Must be alert and aware of all movement taking place inside the facility.
  • Must screen all visitors and incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assist in transportation responsibilities that may include transfers to other facilities, medical appointments, court appearances, and other approved locations

Requirements - Duty Officer:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have no prior criminal arrest or history
  • Must have good, basic computer skills
  • Must have an in-state valid driver's license
  • Must be prepared to work when needed on a rotating shift schedule
