Candidates should have excellent attention to detail, have an understanding of different computer systems and have at least two years of customer service experience.

Core Duties:

  • Build and maintain customer relationships and improve customer retention,
  • Contact and respond to customers requesting stock deliveries,
  • Co-ordinate deliveries with warehouse and carriers,
  • Manage and communicate to customers with high priority needs,
  • Provide internal and external contacts with customer inventory status updates,
  • Work with our sales team on customer quotes and confirming orders,
  • Data entry of all customer information, contacts, deliveries and stock movements,
  • Anticipate customer needs and make suggestions before customers ask for them,
  • Consult with customers after sales to resolve problems and provide ongoing support,
  • Work with our lead generation systems to identify and qualify potential customer leads, and provide all necessary information to our sales team,
  • Take calls from customers who have questions about products and services,
  • Participate in sales meetings, training and trade events to maintain a high level of product and supplier knowledge,
  • Complete administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner,
  • Complete sales/call reports accurately. Provide relevant and neccessary information on client interactions to other team members.

Skills & Experience:

  • Associate degree in a relevant field preferred,
  • Two (2) + yeares of experience in an internal Sales, Marketing, or Customer Service role preferred,
  • Experience in the food packaging industry optional,
  • Ability to type 25-30 words per minute,
  • Knowledge of Mircosoft Office, and Windows based software essential,
  • Must posess strong negotiaton and conflict resolution skills,
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment,
  • Ability to identify problems, and their solutions,
  • Ability to self-manage multiple tasks required,
  • Ability to work in stressful situations,
  • Attention to detail.
