Raytheon's Ground Radars & Platforms Center within Systems Integration & Test seeks talented Systems Engineers to support the Patriot program. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts across the program.

What You Will Do

  • Support system level integration and verification, including test planning and execution in the test facilities
  • Prepare integration and verification documentation, such as test plans, procedures, test cases, and reports
  • Utilize DOORS to capture verification artifacts and maintain traceability to requirements
  • Develop automated testing frameworks in support of integration and verification
  • Analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues and complete requirement verification
  • Compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers
  • Collaborate across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues
  • Develop simulation scenarios to evaluate system performance.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with Patriot system in an integration lab and/or test facility
  • Experience with systems integration and/or verification strategy.
  • Experience with DOORS and/or MATLAB
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation and verification
  • Experience with the operations and maintenance of the Patriot system, and Patriot specific data collection and analysis tools
  • Experience working with customers to plan and execute program test activities
  • Experience in development of test plans, procedures, and/or reports move to prefer or remove all together with test plans
  • Experience support test events with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
