Raytheon’s Ground Radars & Platforms Center within Systems Integration & Test seeks talented Systems Engineers to support the Patriot program. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts across the program.

What You Will Do

  • Lead and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop test plans and procedures, conduct testing, process and analyze data, and communicate the results
  • Verify hardware and software capabilities on a tactical system to evaluate functionality and ensure compliance with system level requirements.
  • Identify and resolve issues and anomalies through debugging/troubleshooting and data analysis
  • Communicate with internal and/or external stakeholders
  • This position is onsite in Andover MA, 10% travel is expected to support test events with the ability to support testing on multiple shifts.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with system integration and/or verification
  • Experience with test execution and/or test reporting
  • Experience with DOORS
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with hands-on root cause identification, corrective action implementation and verification
  • Experience working with customers to plan and execute program test activities
  • Experience support test events with radar systems, weapons systems, or command and control systems

  • This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
