Raytheon's Ground Radars & Platforms Center within Systems Integration & Test is seeking talented Sr Systems Engineers to support the Patriot program. Every day is a different set of challenges to overcome. Whether in hardware, software, networking, or some combination of all three, you'll be stretched to learn about how our systems work and identify the sources of new and unexpected issues through lots of troubleshooting and data analysis. You'll be expected to collaborate across disciplines and partner to implement solutions. In this role, you'll get to know a little bit about every aspect of the system and have a direct hand in making it all work together supporting teams of engineers engaged in integration and test efforts across the program.
What You Will Do
- Provide oversight and support to suppliers of two key missile subassemblies.
- Support the integration and verification of missile subassemblies, including test planning and execution in the test facilities
- Review and compile integration and verification documentation, such as test plans, procedures, test cases, and reports from missile suppliers
- Planning and support of test beds needed for system level integration and test of missile sub-assemblies.
- Review and analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues with integration and verification.
- Compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers
- Collaborate across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues. Includes working closely with operations and manufacturing teams.
- About 10% travel is expected to support test events with the ability to support testing on multiple shifts
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior experience.
- Experience with integration and/or test.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience with the operations and maintenance of the Patriot system, and Patriot specific data collection and analysis tools
- Experience with developing simulation scenarios to evaluate system performance
- Experience analyzing of large sets of system performance data using data analysis tools (such as MATLAB), for the purpose of completing requirement verification
- Experience interfacing with internal and external customers, and finding technical solutions to complex requirements
- Experience with generating technical documentation in support of requirements integration and verification, including work instructions and process flow diagrams
- Experience with DOORS or a related database for requirements management and linking requirements to test procedures
- Experience with systems integration and verification strategy, including methods and processes, as well as the development of verification plans, procedures, and reports
