The Lead Medical Physicist, Proton Therapy plays a critical role in the treatment of cancer patients. This position will report directly to the Chief Medical Physicist and be responsible for the design and accurate delivery of radiation plans as well as patient and staff safety. The Lead Medical Physicist, Proton Therapy will collaborate with other staff members to develop individualized therapy treatment plans, monitor patient treatment delivery and address any issues that may arise during treatment. This position will also ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and guidelines for radiation protection and safety as well as conduct routine calibration and testing of proton therapy systems and dosimetry equipment.
