Job Title: Staff Medical Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Physicist to join our team at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation therapy equipment, working closely with Radiation Oncologists and Radiation Therapists to plan and deliver treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the safety and quality of radiation therapy equipment and procedures
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of radiation treatments
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies
  • Provide training and guidance to associates on radiation safety and compliance
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Officer to identify and address any compliance issues
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in physics or a related field
  • Previous experience in a hospital radiation oncology department
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and compliance regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
