Job Title: Medical Physicist

At Holy Cross Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our radiation therapy treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning and delivery of radiation therapy treatments, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and Radiation Therapists to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Ensure that all radiation therapy equipment is properly calibrated and maintained.
  • Develop and implement advanced cancer radiation treatment technologies.
  • Provide training and guidance to Associates on compliance policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Current Therapeutic Radiological Physicist license from the State of Florida.
  • American Association of Physicist in Medicine (AAPM) Certification.
  • Master's degree in physics (M.S.).
  • Ability to operate complex computerized equipment.
  • Previous management experience in a hospital radiation oncology department.
