Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee safety protocols and procedures in the radiation oncology department
  • Assist Radiation Oncologists and Radiation Therapists with treatment planning and equipment setup
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and hospital policies
  • Provide training and guidance to associates on compliance and risk management
  • Monitor and report on compliance and risk issues
Requirements
  • Current Therapeutic Radiological Physicist license from the State of Florida
  • American Association of Physicist in Medicine (AAPM) Certification
  • Master's degree in physics (M.S.)
  • Ability to operate complex computerized equipment
  • Previous management experience in a hospital radiation oncology department
