Description:

We are still determining what the shift will be. It will start out as a standard business hour shifts but candidates need to be flexible. It will likely be 5am - 2pm or 10am - 7pm. or 3pm - 12pm If we have candidates open to these options and weekends (2 to 3 per month). They will work some weekends but would have at least one weekend off per month. This position will be hybrid with more remote than in person once the candidate proves themselves. Job Duties:

We are looking at bringing in temporary help for our IT Helpdesk. Responsibilities include:

• Over-the-phone (primarily) repair of all Point-of-Sale (POS) Equipment, kitchen video monitors and controllers, network devices, and drive-thru communication systems.

• Troubleshooting and addressing tickets for time keeping the software, and other business software.

• Support for order confirmation displays, wireless controllers, headsets, speakers, microphones, and other order processing equipment.

• Back office computer, printer/fax & battery backup support for the restaurants.

• Thorough and accurate documentation of all Help Desk

• Document common fixes for self-help/knowledge base

The Helpdesk Manager is looking for people who have experience with over the phone support of IT issues, logging tickets, following scripts, and technical troubleshooting. Candidates will need to be available to work all shifts with a 1 hour lunch.

He wouldn’t expect these individuals to be more than a tier 1 individual, phone skills because majority of the issues are over the phone and try to resolve over first call. These individuals can log as a ticket and escalate. Ability to calm a situation down. They will provide training and bring someone up to speed.

1. Phone skills and communicate comfortably on the phone

3. Basic command line knowledge.
