About the Role: The Global Accounts Manager will play a key role in managing and growing strategic accounts within the AEC and energy sectors. Based in Houston, you’ll leverage your deep understanding of these industries to build and nurture relationships with major clients. This role requires an individual with a strong account management background, ideally with experience in complex technical sales in the AEC, engineering, or energy sectors. Your goal is to ensure client success, drive renewals, and expand the company’s footprint within key accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Account Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts in the AEC and energy sectors, building long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts, focusing on upselling and cross-selling within assigned accounts.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, delivering tailored solutions and proactively addressing challenges.
- Market Insight: Leverage your knowledge of the AEC and energy sectors to identify trends, positioning the company as a valued partner to engineering and construction clients.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth account operations, from initial onboarding to ongoing support and renewal cycles.
- Salesforce CRM Management: Use Salesforce to track account activities, monitor client interactions, and generate insights to inform account strategy.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8+ years in account management or technical sales, with a focus on AEC, engineering, or energy industries.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the AEC sector, including familiarity with energy, utilities, or construction clients.
- Technical Understanding: Knowledge of both hardware and software sales, ideally with experience in systems integration or AV.
- Relationship Management Skills: Proven success in building and maintaining strong client relationships, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Salesforce Expertise: Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage account activities and derive insights.

Pay range and compensation package: Base Salary: $95k, with sizable performance-based incentives. Additional Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, travel and accommodation, support, and opportunities for career growth
