Description:
The Patient Estimate Department takes calls from patients and helps create an estimate on what their services will cost them.
These Patient Estimate Associates primary job will be answering an increased amount of calls coming in for the department.
Associates will document patient information into Microsoft Excel for the Sr Associates to later follow-up on to deliver an accurate estimate. Examples of information documented will be: name, DOB, insurance provider, Date of appointment, Procedure, etc.)
They then pass that information along to the Sr Associate to create the estimate.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
• 1 year of healthcare experience (can be insurance or hospital/dr. office. Basically, they need basic knowledge. Ex. Manager used was “someone who knows the difference between a CT scan and a colposcopy”—so pretty basic.)
• Inbound call experience
• Basic Microsoft Excel
