Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient patient registration process, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival.
- Verify patient information and insurance details.
- Collect and process patient payments.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years’ experience in customer service-based setting (could be retail, restaurant, medical, call center setting.)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of function and relationships within a hospital environment preferred.
- Customer service skills and experience
Compensation
- Pay: $18.50/hr.
- Pay cycle – weekly | medical, dental & vision benefits offered.
Shift Options: 8 total openings. Your choice of shift & facility (outpatient or in patient)
- Outpatient: Mon – Fri (5:30am – 2:00pm). Mon – Fri (8:30am – 5:00pm), Mon – Fri (7:00am – 3:30pm)
- Emergency Room: Wed – Sat (6:00am – 6:00pm), Wed – Sat (9:00am – 9:00pm)
