We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative II to join our team at Conifer Revenue Cycle Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties in support of departmental efficiencies, including scheduling, registration, patient pre-admission and admission, reception and discharge functions.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain complete and accurate patient demographic information, ensuring compliance with financial and cash control policies and procedures.
- Employ proper and compliant patient liability collection techniques before, during, and after date of service.
- Assist with scheduling diagnostic procedures, enter data in scheduling systems, and provide customers with appointment instructions.
- Verify insurance, benefits, coverage, and eligibility, and secure inpatient visit notifications to payors.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 0-1 year of experience in a customer service role, with 0-1 year of administrative experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.
- Some college coursework is preferred.
The Patient Access Representative II will work in a fast-paced hospital administration environment, with potential exposure to life-threatening patient conditions. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, provide excellent customer service, and maintain Conifer Standards of Care.
