SUMMARY: The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for helping to create and execute a tactical strategy to achieve key results while ensuring an excellent customer service experience. A successful Inside Sales manager will have excellent customer service skills, an understanding of operational processes, and consistently meet team and organization goals.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Manages inside sales staff to include: planning, implementing, and overseeing work assignments, employee training, career development, and performance management.
  2. Responsible for planning and maintaining the policies and procedures that enable and encourage optimum performance by the inside sales group.
  3. Coordinates with other employees and managers from other departments to ensure customer service goals and operational objectives are met.
  4. Assists in the creation of sales proposals, cost estimates, and customer presentations.
  5. Coaches, mentors, and develops staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
  6. Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators with the intent of continuously improving the customer experience and operational efficiencies.
  7. Contributes to creating and maintaining best practices to ensure compliance with the company’s Quality Management System.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  1. Bachelor’s degree
  2. 8 years of relevant/technical work experience and 5-8 years of leadership experience OR
  3. An additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
  4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  5. Data analysis, statistical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
  6. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.)
  7. Solid Knowledge of U.S. Export Rules and regulations
  8. Light travel
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
  1. 11+ years of sales/customer service experience
  2. 5+ year of experience in the aviation industry
  3. 9+ years of leadership experience
  4. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9120
  5. Knowledge of Quantum Control Software
OTHER:
  1. The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
