The role:
  • Content Development: Work with experts to develop, curate and amplify high-quality content on the implication of geopolitics on business.  The content will involve longer term research projects as well as rapid response perspectives to the changing global landscape.  This will be across various format from articles, reports, op-eds, presentations, social media and leadership briefings.  This is the primary focus of the role. 
  • Center Strategy: Shape and deliver the strategic direction of the Center for Geopolitics, ensuring alignment with BCG's broader objectives. 
  • Program Management: Oversee and manage center activities coordinating with internal and external stakeholders  

YOU'RE GOOD AT
  • International Relations & Geopolitics: Deep understanding of global power dynamics and their implications for business strategy. 
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex geopolitical trends and create clear, actionable insights. 
  • Narrative Creation: Crafting compelling stories and presentations that resonate with diverse stakeholders. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners. 
  • Collaboration: Working effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. 
  • Adaptability: Managing ambiguity and staying agile in a changing landscape. 

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
  • Educational Background: Advanced degree in public policy, international relations, economics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional Experience: Ideally 10-12+ years of experience in working within geopolitics, international relations or related fields with links to the private sector 
  • Skills: Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills; comfort with ambiguity; ability to manage sensitive topics. 
  • Mindset: Internationally minded with exposure to private sector dynamics; agile and adaptable to fast-paced environments. 

  • Center for Geopolitics Leadership:  Closely partner with the Center for Geopolitics Leadership to define and deliver center’s strategic goals and content priorities 
  • BCG Experts:  Collaborate with a core set of client-facing global experts on geopolitics, trade and investment to develop content and drive go-to-market.  Collaborate with experts from other parts of BCG in relationship to Geopolitical developments. 
  • External Partners: Engage with external partners to drive the Center's agenda and impact. 
  • Global Advantage Leadership:  Work closely with BCG’s Global Advantage Practice Area leadership (Practice Area Leader, Executive Director, Marketing Senior Director) to integrate geopolitical insights into broader business strategies and marketing agenda
