We are seeking a dynamic and creative Deputy Director and Fellow to advance our research agenda at the intersection of energy security, transition, and geopolitics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to address the most pressing energy challenges of the 21st century.
  • Collaborate with the program director and team to produce high-quality research outputs and achieve key programmatic goals.
  • Take a leadership role in mentoring junior staff and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Conceive and lead events such as conferences, panels, roundtables, and podcasts to disseminate the program's research and insights.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of increasingly independent or responsible experience in public policy development and research within industry, analytical or research communities, or government.
  • Respected authority with substantial knowledge and a robust network in energy or climate issues, with a particular interest in expertise related to geopolitics, trade, or energy markets.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying challenges, setting priorities, and implementing policy-relevant solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; proficient public speaker capable of engaging with media, industry, and government stakeholders.
