Job Description

Within CR, Global Philanthropy (GP) advances this work through three functions: the JPMorgan Chase Foundation, Impact Finance and Advisory, and Employee Engagement and Volunteerism (EEV). EEV facilitates skilled engagement from JPMorgan Chase employees to deepen the firm's corporate responsibility impact, and also manages disaster relief and workplace giving programs. EEV is seeking a Regional Lead for the U.S. to develop and execute employee engagement strategies across the country, aligned to the firm's talent and culture priorities and corporate responsibility impact agenda. This role reports to Hang Ho, Head of Global EEV and International Philanthropy.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of the coverage strategy and operating model for EEV across the U.S., informed by business priorities, market context, and community needs
  • Ensure the EEV plan is consistent with the global mandate and principles, whilst also responsive to specific market context
  • Work closely with colleagues and peers across GP and CR to ensure a holistic and integrated approach - in local markets and across the U.S. - that expands that firm's potential to advance an inclusive economy
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships and systemic communication with senior executives and partners in the LOBs and functions, such as HR and Legal, to build an ecosystem as well as portfolio of employee volunteering initiatives that respond to the firm's talent and culture priorities
  • Oversee and manage a team responsible developing and executing employee engagement strategies, for priority markets and themes
  • Accountable to excellent and consistent execution standard across the country - including partner identification, employee recruitment and program and/or event delivery
  • Oversee partnerships with intermediaries to enable program delivery, including oversight and management of program budgets
  • Systematically utilize data, insights, and feedback to inform and adapt EEV product and market strategy and plan to improve engagement and impact

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in employee engagement, volunteerism, philanthropy, and/or social impact, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Proven leadership, partnership, and influencing skills with ability to effect change within a large, matrixed and fast-paced organization
  • Demonstrates a high degree of initiative; results-oriented, strong attention to detail and deadlines
  • Commercial mindset and strong interpersonal skills; experience managing relationships and collaborating with senior executive stakeholders
  • Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to distill and present complex information plainly and succinctly
  • Creative, flexible, and collaborative with an ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Experience working within a global team preferred, including working across different geographic contexts
  • Management experience preferred; demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion, with ability to mentor and empower team members at all levels
