Sales Director (Project Leader)IQVIA, in partnership with our client DiaSorin, is hiring a Sales Director (Project Leader). The Sales Director (Project Leader) will be responsible for strategy execution and driving team performance in our partnership with DiaSorin. DiaSorin is the global leader in the laboratory diagnostic market specializing in the immunodiagnostics and molecular diagnostics segments. The primary objective of the Sales Director (Project Leader) is to lead the team of Hospital Clinical Specialists to encourage the use of DiaSorin’s LIAISON MeMed BV test in the hospital setting – particularly in pediatrics, emergency medicine and infectious disease departments.  DiaSorin’s LIAISON MeMed BV test complements conventional technologies, providing actionable information and better informed antiviral and antibiotic treatment decisions allowing for rapid and accurate diagnosis.The Sales Director (Project Leader) will support DiaSorin in the development of strategic direction and serve as a key information holder regarding the marketplace. In the evolving diagnostic market, the Sales Director must be able to make sound decisions quickly and tactically pivot based upon marketplace demands. This role will also be responsible for monitoring and delivering on all contractual obligations as agreed to with the client.Qualifications/Experience4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university required.Hospital sales management experience required.5 + years of pharmaceutical sales leadership as a first line manager required. National Sales Management/Regional Sales Management highly preferred.Infectious disease experience highly preferred; Diagnostic experience highly preferred.Nursing experience in Infectious Disease or Emergency Room setting a strong plus.Proven track record in leading and inspiring pharmaceutical sales teams towards exceeding objectives; aligning performance with success.Strong business acumen and ability to clearly report detailed team sales results and data to internal Sales Management, as well as the customer.Strong leadership, planning and organization, problem solving and decisionmaking skills, as well as technical skills.Coach and manage a team of Clinical Specialists to drive performance in a compliant manner and role model best practices.Ability to effectively communicate directly with the customer’s senior leadership to ensure all customer goals and objectives are being met or exceeded.Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally with IQVIA internal stake holders.IQVIA offers a friendly, progressive work atmosphere and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, life insurance and vision coverage, tuition assistance, bonus plan and 401(k).We look forward to the prospect of working with you Please apply on-line at: EEO Minorities/Females/Protected Veterans/Disabled
