Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.We are seeking a Director of Sales Operations to lead our Sales Operations team for the Genomics sequencing business.  This role will focus on driving sales force effectiveness for our growing oncology and neuropsychiatry clinician-facing sales teams, in addition to sales forecasting and reporting for the business.  This is a highly visible role with significant team leadership responsibilities that directly impact our ability to make Tempus products and services accessible for all patients.ResponsibilitiesDrive sales force effectiveness across multiple clinician-facing sales teams and roles, through activities including:Sales force designTerritory mapping and capacity planningQuota settingIncentive compensation plan developmentSales enablement tool developmentProactive identification and execution of opportunities to improve sales team efficiencyCollaboration and communication with commercial leadership, sales team, and cross-functional stakeholdersLead sales planning and generation of business insights, including:Development and maintenance of sales forecastsBusiness performance reporting for executive leadershipAnalysis of sales and customer data to guide sales force prioritiesLead, coach, and mentor our Sales Operations teamRequired Qualifications7+ years of experience in an analytical business role such as business strategy, finance, sales operations, and/or business intelligence, including 2+ years of experience in sales operations3+ years of experience managing direct reportsStrong business acumen, including the ability to translate data insights into action plansExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEntrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguitySolutions-oriented and biased to actionPreferred QualificationsCommercial experience in oncology, with clinician-facing products, and/or within a life sciences organizationSalesforce.com and Looker experience#LI-GL1We are an equal opportunity employer.
