    RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR COST ACCOUNTANT:
  • Monitor control procedures surrounding key costing files (Item Costs, Bills of Material, RoutingsLabor Reporting)
  • Coding MRO's and PO's
  • Physical Inventory
  • Support general accounting functions that include journal entries, inventory analysis, monthly obsolesce review/reserve, monthly cycle accounting
  • Assist in the annual audits, both internal and external, as required
  • Other support includes analysis and planning as well
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital.
  • Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position.
  • Adhoc projects


EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE SENIOR COST ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

  • BS in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent business experience
  • Minimum of 3 years related accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures
  • Manufacturing industry experience
