Our client, a well-known women's fashion brand known for carrying trendy and affordable styles is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to join their team on a 6-month contract.


This position will be 100% on-site Monday - Friday at their DTLA HQ.

This role is a 6-month contract to cover a maternity leave.


Position Summary

The Learning and Development Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the administration, maintenance, execution, and marketing of learning programs to ensure the delivery of high-quality learning experiences for our managers and employees. This position encompasses support with all operational aspects to guarantee effective implementation of all L&D programs and initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operational aspects of new employee orientation program, including administration, facilitation, organization and execution
  • Support with the administration, management and execution of employee development programs such leadership development, learning and development and other employee training initatives
  • Administer, organize and facilite workshop and training sessions for employees at all levels
  • Manage compliance and tracking of HR trainings
  • Continuously evaluate and improve learning processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identify process enhancements based on feedback and industry best practices
  • Analyse, monitor and report on key performance indicators and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning programs
  • Provide administrative HR support as needed
  • As needed, liaise with vendors

  • Experience collaborating with subject matter experts to create engaging online learning modules

  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills


Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience, including at least 1 years in Learning and Development
  • Bachelor's degree in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proficiency in administration and organization of Learning and Development programs
  • Proficiency in analyzing data from diagnostic tools and HR metrics
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to collaborate effectively within and across organizational boundaries
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, ideally with facilitation experience


Hourly rate: up to $45 per hour DOE
