Key Responsibilities
  • Training Program Development
    • Design and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of dental staff.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop programs to meet those needs.
  • Training Materials and Resources
    • Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources.
    • Ensure that all training materials are up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Training Delivery and Evaluation
    • Deliver training programs to dental staff, either in-person or virtually.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Registry Program Management
    • Manage the Dental Assistant Registry Program, including processing applications and maintaining records.
    • Develop initiatives to improve the program and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Continuing Education
    • Provide continuing education opportunities for dental staff, including workshops, webinars, and online courses.
    • Collaborate with other departments to identify continuing education needs and develop programs to meet those needs.
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Assist in the production of required reports, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly data collection reports.
    • Maintain communication with program team members and supervisor to ensure that training programs are meeting the needs of the organization.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
    • Two years' related experience within human services and/or public health.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Knowledge of training methodologies and e-learning software.
    • Effective written and oral communication skills.
    • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with other departments.
    • Ability to utilize trauma-informed management to resolve complex people relations matters.
