Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage and service a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention. You will act as the primary point of contact between our clients and insurance carriers, handling all aspects of policy management and providing expert guidance on coverage options.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their main point of contact for all commercial insurance needs. Address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide guidance on coverage and policy options.
  • Policy Administration: Oversee the day-to-day management of commercial insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations. Ensure that all documentation is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
  • Coverage Analysis: Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions. Work with underwriters to obtain quotes and negotiate terms to secure the best possible coverage for clients.
  • Claims Assistance: Assist clients with filing and managing claims, acting as their advocate throughout the process. Coordinate with insurance carriers to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to provide clients with up-to-date information and advice. Recommend adjustments to coverage as needed based on changing business needs.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, policy details, and other relevant information. Prepare reports and documentation as required.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless client experience. Provide support and training to junior staff as needed.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably in a similar account management role. Proven experience in handling commercial insurance policies and claims.
  • Licensing: Valid insurance license(s) in [State/Country] required. Additional certifications (e.g., CIC, CPCU) are a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and insurance management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
