Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of underground utilities projects, including excavation for water and sewer systems, for commercial and municipal clients.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to timelines, financial goals, and quality standards.
  • Oversee project coordination activities, including resource allocation, procurement of materials, project logistics, and stakeholder management.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to project coordinators, assisting in their professional development and growth within the organization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, project teams, and regulatory authorities, and ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout all project phases.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategic initiatives and drive the overall success and growth of the organization.
  • Monitor project performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, and promote a culture of safety among project teams.
  • Participate in leadership meetings and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on underground utilities projects related to water and sewer systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects in the commercial and municipal sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitive and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, DMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
