Crusoe Energy is seeking a highly skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing structural engineering solutions for our power distribution buildings and substation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and oversee the structural engineering and design of power distribution buildings and motor control center building projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, directors, and engineering team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and implement best practices to advance our capabilities in structural engineering.
- Design and develop structural engineering solutions for a variety of industrial structural members, including rolled steel shapes, lattice steel framing, and folded plate tubular steel shapes.
- Lead and oversee foundation design tasks for industrial power and data center structures, including drilled piers, spread footings, driven piles, and other types.
- Support physical building layout designs, plans, elevations/sections, details, and associated bills of materials.
- Review and approve drawings for final PE stamping.
- Prepare and review specifications for construction and materials.
- Coordinate and perform quality checks and reviews for project deliverables per the Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements, processes, and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Structural Engineer experience.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk software, Solidworks, RAM, ETABS, SAFE, or similar analytical software.
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm and manufacturers is a plus.
- Familiarity with the latest NESC, NEC, IEEE, ANSI, ASCE-113, and other industry standards.
