OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT:


Under the direction of the Sr. Design Service Planner this role manages and supports design services account planning and scheduling. This position functions as the design operations account planner, scheduler and data analyst working collaboratively amongst a cross functional team within Sales Operations. Ensuring on-time completion of projects, capacity planning and process improvements through design operations.





A DAY IN THE LIFE:


  • Coordinates and facilitates all project timeline efforts between all cross functional team members and ensures design production meets critical project deadlines.
  • Performs data validation along with key account project and customer set up needs. Accurately inputting data and driving improvement by cleansing and preparing data for in depth analysis.
  • Supports and implements operating procedures for design services, under direction of Sr. Design Service Planner in partnership with Sr. Designers and/or Design Managers.
  • Account Planner that manages design operation’s weekly distribution of design operations schedule and facilitates weekly 1x1 meetings with design department.
  • Experience in data analysis with developing and maintaining key account planning reports. Driving comprehensive data analysis reviews and effectively communicates findings to the Sr. Design Service Planner/Sr. Designers/Design Managers/Account Managers.
  • Understands workflows and supports Account Planning in driving and implementing new tools and processes within Sales Operations.
  • Working directly with managers to ensure continuous, on-going improvement of methods, productivity and quality within design operations.
  • Supports Account Planning in driving and implementing new tools and processes within Sales Operations.
  • Completes special initiatives to help support Sr. Design Services Planner, Program Manager and Director Design + Account Ops.
  • Responsible for maintaining capacity planning & resource needs for design services. Collaborates and provides solutions in balancing resources that satisfies the accounts needs/trends directly with Design Managers.
  • Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.




WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:


  • 2+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred degree, study, and experience in design or construction planning and/or scheduling.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret design and construction drawings, general Architectural & Design deliverables.
  • Experience working within Sales, Project Management and/or Operational/Manufacturing Systems needed.
  • Ability to operate scheduling programs and Microsoft programs is required.
  • Ability to prepare reports and communicate project needs required.
  • Expert ability in Microsoft Excel is required (Reports, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience and understanding of Salesforce, Power BI, and ERP systems.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, vendors, customers and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to solve practical problems, using critical thinking skills with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to validate design and construction drawings, general Architectural & Design deliverables
