Job Overview

This role requires a professional with excellent technical and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and stakeholders, collaborate with internal teams, and craft meaningful places for aging.

As a senior living planner and architectural designer, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from master planning to fine detailing. You will be responsible for leading projects through our purpose-driven design approach, ensuring seamless facilitation and coordination of planning, programming, concept, and schematic design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement senior living planning and design solutions that meet the needs of clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Prepare presentation and design drawings utilizing current techniques and technology
  • Exhibit a working knowledge of senior living operations, finance, and regulations that influence planning and design solutions
  • Solve problems proactively and prioritize tasks and assignments

Requirements:

  • Licensed architect with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in senior living planning, architectural design, and unit design
  • Strong understanding of sustainable design and building processes and concepts
  • Knowledge and experience with Revit, SketchUp, and related software
  • Knowledge of other graphic software such as Adobe/Affinity suite and rendering software
