Job Description:

One of Insight Global's clients is looking for an Information Security Administrator to join their team in Memphis, TN You’ll be responsible for configuring and optimizing SIEM and WSUS tools, responding to incidents, and ensuring timely patching and maintenance. Additionally, you’ll contribute to threat analysis, risk assessments, and the implementation of new security measures.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up and fine-tune SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) tools.
  • Handle incident response, including identifying and mitigating security incidents promptly.
  • Manage and maintain SIEM and WSUS tools, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Regularly patch and reboot security tools according to schedule.
  • Develop threat models, conduct threat research, and write comprehensive reports.
  • Implement new security tools and technologies to enhance our defenses.
  • Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations to management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 6-10 years of experience as an Information Security Admin or Engineer.
  • Proficiency with WSUS, SIEM, O365 Security Center, Patching/Remediation, and Secret Server.
  • Broad expertise in IT Security, including network security, access controls, and vulnerability management.


Nice to Have:

  • A wide-ranging knowledge of IT, as this role will eventually encompass all aspects of IT Security.
