Critical Business Analysis has an immediate need for a fulltime Construction Scheduler with a minimum of 3 years experience in the OH area. This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules allocating resources monitoring progress and mitigating risks to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects. This position requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders. This position will report directly to the Project Controls Manager and will be a function of the Project Controls department.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 Oracle Primavera Cloud Microsoft Project or similar tools.
  • Coordinate with project controls project managers engineers subcontractors and suppliers to gather necessary information for scheduling purposes.
  • Create detailed schedules outlining the sequence of activities durations and resource requirements for the entire project lifecycle.
  • Utilize scheduling best practices including Work Breakdown Structure Schedule Narratives float management activity codes maintain Schedule Impact Log etc.
  • Allocate project resources such as labor equipment and materials based on project requirements and schedule constraints.
  • Monitor progress against the baseline schedule identify deviations and suggest corrective actions as necessary.
  • Conduct schedule impact assessments to evaluate the consequences of proposed changes or deviations from the original plan.
  • Identify potential schedule risks and help develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with project teams to perform and review schedule updates address issues and ensure alignment on project objectives.
  • Ability to follow Scheduling Standards and hold Project Managers and other schedulers accountable for compliance with those standards.
  • Ensure that project schedules adhere to industry standards best practices and contractual requirements.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in scheduling techniques software tools and industry trends to enhance scheduling capabilities.


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in construction management engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Construction Scheduler or similar role in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 Microsoft Project or similar tools. The company currently utilizes Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) so knowledge of this system is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of construction processes techniques and terminology.
  • Knowledge of Earned Value Management is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of PMI s Project Life Cycle is preferred but not required
