Edgewater Technical Associates is in search of a Senior Construction Project Manager to enhance our Projects Team.

Local candidates only, no per diem available.

Clearance:
Active DOE L or Q security clearance preferred, but not mandatory.
Citizenship: United States Citizenship required.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience overseeing craft and subcontractors in industrial construction and services.
  • At least 3 years' experience managing job schedules using Primavera or equivalent.
  • Experience with DOE projects is preferred.
General Responsibilities:
  • Interprets, organizes, and coordinates work assignments effectively.
  • Responsible for directing construction and related activities within the assigned area, which may involve single or multi-discipline projects.
  • May serve as the primary contact for clients regarding job-site activities or collaborate with client representatives.
  • Ensures compliance with design/specifications, adherence to schedules, budget management, and quality standards on-site.
  • Provides technical and administrative guidance to superintendents, construction engineers, coordinators, and other personnel as needed.
  • Oversees job-site operations, including all activities of subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and their representatives.
  • Approves the layout of temporary construction facilities for the project.
  • Ensures the job-site organization is staffed with qualified personnel and promotes effective utilization of resources.
  • Monitors ratios of General Foreman/Foreman and Foreman/Worker on the project.
  • Ensures effective use of project automation tools by craft workers.
  • Establishes, coordinates, and implements construction schedules, manning charts, and material/equipment requirements.
  • Sets and achieves project cost and schedule targets.
  • Coordinates multi-discipline craft activities within specific project areas.
  • Directs all construction activities of the project as assigned.
  • Provides on-site representation to client personnel.
