We are Cannon Excavation seeking an experienced Project Manager Estimator to oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate should have a background in excavation, construction management, project planning, and cost control.


As a Construction Project Manager/Estimator, you will be responsible for the following.


Responsibilities:

- Compiling subcontractor bids

- Assembling the bids for owner's presentation

- Overseeing the project to insure it's completed on time and within budget

- Collaborate with owner and subcontractors to ensure project success

- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary

- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

- Manage project documentation, including permits, drawings, and specifications

- Communicate effectively with owners to provide project updates and address any concerns or issues


Experience:

- Proven experience in construction project management

- Knowledge of construction estimating and cost control

- Proficiency in project management software such as QuickBooks & Excel or Open Office

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail


Jobs styles consist of two general areas:

- Excavation company working as a subcontractor to perform site preparations as in demolition of existing structures and preparing site to begin construction on a new building.

- General Contractor overseeing complete project from site work to completed structures.
