Michael Page is seeking a highly skilled Construction Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Detroit, MI.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction industry, with experience in managing historical data for use in preparing future estimates. They will also have the ability to develop strong relationships with key subcontractors and drive the desire to assemble the most cost-effective solution to a customer's needs within given quality and scheduling objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively participate in the sales process by preparing information (schedules, budgets, scopes of work) to be utilized in securing new work.
  • Stay current with top industry software and technology packages: maintain current technology and make recommendations for future technology acquisitions.
  • RFI's: maintain estimating databases and templates (estimating templates, scope of work templates, etc.).
  • Maintain and distribute project documentation.
  • Procurement.
  • Field operations and safety.
Requirements
  • 2+ years experience in Construction industry.
  • Ability to manage historical data for use in preparing future estimates.
  • Commercial and/or Retail project experience, preferred.
  • Ability to Develop strong relationships with key subcontractors.
  • Driven by the desire to assemble the most cost-effective solution to a customer's needs within given quality and scheduling objectives.
  • Design-build experience preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Architecture, required.

Michael Page offers a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 - $95,000, unlimited PTO, fully employer-paid health, vision, dental, 401K match of 6%, vehicle allowance, paid maternity and paternity leave, unmatched mentorship programs and leadership opportunities, and bonuses up to 10% of base salary.
