Position Overview

The primary responsibilities for a Lead Construction Project Engineer include:
  • Engaging in the sales process by preparing essential information (schedules, budgets, scopes of work) to secure new projects.
  • Staying updated with leading industry software and technology, maintaining current tools, and recommending future technology investments.
  • Managing Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Maintaining estimating databases and templates (including estimating and scope of work templates).
  • Overseeing and distributing project documentation.
  • Handling procurement processes.
  • Ensuring field operations and safety compliance.
Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Lead Construction Project Engineer role will possess:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience with relocating to project sites.
  • Capability to manage historical data for future estimate preparation.
  • Preferred experience in commercial and/or retail projects.
  • Adeptness in building strong relationships with key subcontractors.
  • A drive to create the most cost-effective solutions that meet quality and scheduling objectives.
  • Design-build experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture is required.
