SUMMARY


Contribute to the success and growth of our legacy brands through development, prospecting, supporting, and retaining business through numerous highly incentivized efforts. The following duties reflect management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build a solid list of new corporate accounts by proactively prospecting into strategic business accounts via cold calls, sending emails, and leading high-level discovery calls with prospects.
  • Develop goals and metrics to maximize sales, market share and profitability of the company's brands.
  • Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold calls, sending emails, and leading high-level discovery calls with prospects.
  • Increase YOY sales with corporate accounts through expansion of SKU’s and upsell.
  • Develop quarterly strategic sales plans and ensure execution of plan to meet objectives.
  • Receive and qualify leads from various sources.
  • Maintain and organize an annual book of business.
  • Support corporate accounts by working in conjunction with the company’s marketing team to create marketing/ad campaigns and provide customer service support for any questions or needs the distributors may have.
  • Maximize distributor retention by developing relationships with key contacts with current corporate accounts and provide remote training and seminars via Zoom.
  • Maintain an understanding of the various levels of distribution.
  • Manage and set expectations of brokers by developing forecasts and plans and hold them accountable to the forecasts and plans.
  • Process and follow-up on customer product samples.
  • Be a subject matter expert and evangelist for the company’s brands and products by developing a strong knowledge of the brands and products.
  • Produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts in order to book appointments and influence company revenue.
  • Set up new customer account, create customer Opportunities, create customer New Task activity schedule, and maintain customer account information.
  • Ability to run and analyze sales data and tracking.
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Support other departments as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or equivalent experience is required.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience is a must; preferably within food and/or beverage industry.
  • Must possess strong selling and prospecting skills and passion for quickly developing meaningful relationships and not afraid to close deals quickly.
  • Must possess tenacity, motivation, and competitiveness.
  • Foodservice broadline distribution experience with coffee background is preferred.
  • Experience with sales outreach such as cold calling and emailing.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Innovative and creative in approaching accounts and expanding business.
  • Experience with Business Management
  • Product Knowledge and Costing
  • Menu development
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong Customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to formulate and execute account strategies.
  • Prior experience working with brokers and coffee specialty is a plus.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Professional and comfortable on the phone and video conference.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Proficient on Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word & Salesforce.
