What we need: a professional who can learn to take on a wide range of administrative duties and support-related tasks for our firm.
What the office manager does: Our vision for this position is someone who can tackle a number of critical bookkeeping, billing, accounts receivable and administrative tasks including:
Posting payments and deposits, writing checks and importing credit card expenses in QuickBooks;
- Balancing bank statements and updating trust account spreadsheets;
- Processing billing, creating PDFs/LEDES invoices, and uploading invoices for client matters;
- Assisting attorneys with account receivables, such as updating reports with monthly bills, deposits, and payments, and coordinating billing appeals;
- Managing various important administrative tasks, such as new employee orientation, maintenance of closed files, and coordination with vendors on services like information technology and communications.
