9 MONTH CONTRACT – Audio-Visual (AV) Engineer

On Site - Cambridge MA


AV Engineers with design, build and implement a range of AV and digital classroom and conference room technology and tools. This role will serve as a subject matter expert on advanced audiovisual systems for classrooms and teaching/learning environments. The AV Engineer will act as an escalation point for AV technology incidents

  • Design AV systems for collaboration and teaching and learning spaces
  • Support live audio including microphone setup, recording, and running a mixing board
  • Design the AV technology using industry best practices including hardware, and software (Crestron/Extron, Cisco Telepresence, WebEx, Zoom and more
  • Support and Implement Video Platforms like Zoom, Cisco, Panopto and more
  • Video camera experience and higher level zoom knowledge
  • Provide appropriate documentation


SUGGESTED EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of AV experience (higher ed preferred) including video, web and streaming tools
  • Success in planning and implementing new technologies across an enterprise
  • Experience with AV tools like Crestron, Sony and Legrand
