Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to join our client's IT team as a Help Desk Level II technician. The ideal candidate will be customer-service-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive, capable of managing day-to-day operations and providing tech support to a growing customer base.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide second-level technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues, network devices, printers, and business-specific applications.
  • Upgrade hardware and software to ensure optimal workstation performance.
  • Perform system configuration and testing, including OS and software installation and updates.
  • Document all work details, processes, and procedures within systems of record.
  • Develop repeatable processes and procedures to improve effective end-user support.
  • Maintain strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Handle multiple tasks and work well under tight deadlines.
  • Provide remote support and use support tools effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with IT HelpDesk processes, service management, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Education in computer systems and technologies or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of help desk experience (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and general networking.
  • Experience with remote support tools.
  • Certifications in industry-specific areas (Microsoft, Cisco, HP) are a plus.
  • Experience with Great Plains, Citrix, various manufacturing ERP systems, and VOIP phone systems is desired.
  • Ability to lift to 25 pounds and carry computers, CRT monitors, or other equipment as required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday.
  • Adherence to all Covid protocols with provided PPE.
