We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking a schedule manager – transit and rail - to join our established and growing team in New York.

In this position they will develop reporting frameworks, collaborate across multiple workstreams, and lead a team of controls and schedule managers.


You’ll be responsible for:

  • Provides analysis of schedule data to identify key project issues.
  • Supports the development of plans and schedules for proposal.
  • Assists in coordination of schedule input from all parts of the organization.
  • Identifies and assists in analysis of project schedule variances.
  • Identifies and evaluates schedule variances and recommends associated corrective action.
  • Updates and produces scheduling management reports.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of WBS and helps ensure that project coding is effectively used for all cornerstone applications.
  • Uses drawings and specifications for schedule development.
  • Manages resource load schedule and perform remedial schedule risk analysis.
  • Assembles data for schedule updating.
  • Assumes responsibility for some elements of baseline schedule and associated maintenance.
  • Conducts or assists in performance measurement and associated schedule trends.
  • Supports various levels of project reporting.
  • Participates in and at times leads project planning and scheduling review meetings.
  • Assists in procedure development and implementation.


You’ll need to have:

  • Expert ability to develop CPM schedule logic for engineering, procurement, and construction as well as command of cornerstone scheduling system.
  • Familiarity with construction contracting and the scheduling implications of contract terms.
  • Knowledge of scope control and change management and has demonstrated ability to incorporate directed changes into schedule baseline.
  • Knowledge in earned value methodology.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in reporting, data analysis, and presentation development.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Suite, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Minimum OSHA 30 training required.
  • New York/New Jersey specific experience.
  • Evidence of good potential growth shown by satisfactory performance in past positions
  • Ability to adapt to new situations and to react objectively and expeditiously to critical and emergency construction operation engineering problems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Potential to perform in a lead capacity.


You’ll also have:

  • NJT, MNRR, LIRR, NYCT, MTA experience preferred.
