This private, academic preschool is an innovative to Early Childhood Education. We are looking for a full-time Assistant Director for our Huntsville location.

This individual acts as a liaison between staff, students, and parents, ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions and Sales
- Provides first-level information about the school to prospective families; covers the phone and office email account; schedules appointments for prospective students; welcomes and orients campus visitors
- Communicates promptly, effectively, and positively with families through all stages of the admissions process
- Actively assists prospects on steps from inquiry to enrollment
- Utilizes sales experience to assist with converting tours into enrollments
- Supports re-enrollment process for returning families
- Monitors and processes inquiry and application materials
- Supports the Directors in providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current students and families by responding promptly to all calls and emails with warmth and a high degree of professionalism
- Assists with tours of the school for prospective families
- Guides and supports prospective students and families throughout the admissions process, including providing consistent follow-up with families/schools regarding missing admission application items or other pertinent information
- Handles the admissions process ensuring that all prospective students’ applications, enrollments, and terminations are processed timely, effectively and efficiently
Administrative Management
- Assists the Director in the daily management of the school, including scheduling meetings, coordinating events, and handling correspondence
- Maintains accurate and organized records of students, staff, and school activities
- Manages the Director’s calendar and coordinates meetings with staff, parents, and other stakeholders
- Develops and maintains a quality center and is familiar with state regulations
- Communication and Relations
- Serves as the first point of contact for parents, students, and staff who require the Director’s attention
- Facilitates communication between the Director and the teaching staff, ensuring that important information is efficiently conveyed
- Addresses inquiries and resolve issues that may arise in the Director’s absence with the support of the Pedagogical Coordinator
- School Operations Management
- Collaborates in the planning and execution of school events, such as parent meetings, ceremonies, and extracurricular activities
- Assists in monitoring compliance with school policies and student conduct standards
- Financial Management and Billing
- Handles all billing for parents ensuring that payments are processed on a timely manner
- Follow up on accounts receivable and coordinate necessary actions for their recovery
- Oversees vendor invoicing and ensures timely submission to the finance department for payment
Requirements:
- Minimum AA degree required, bachelor’s in business administration, finance, or supervision and management, preferred
- School admissions experience a must
- Sales experience to assist with conversion of tours to enrollment
- Background screening requirements
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, nurturing attitude
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- High level of computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, email)
- Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
