IT Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator works to expand the business and establish new customers throughout the state while interacting with existing customers to increase sales of ParksideTech’s IT services and expertise. This is accomplished through identifying and developing new prospects, researching and identifying new industry trends and opportunities, and establishing best practices and go-to-market strategies that will lead to achieving or exceeding sales quotas.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting and developing relationships with existing and prospective clients across all business types that utilize IT systems.
  • Develop and implement a sales approach to convert prospects into clients
  • Supply product and service information to prospective customers and/or arrange for analysis and assessment of customer's IT requirements
  • Develop proposals and value propositions that exceed customers' requirements resulting in the development of new customers and retention of existing accounts
  • Organize post-sale delivery and implementation of solutions at customer locations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all sales processes
  • Proactively develop new customer contacts, review leads, participate in customers' business communication planning and delivers proposals in conjunction with management
  • Plan and consult within a team-based work environment to coordinate activity
  • Promote products/services and represent the company at off-site customer meetings
  • Maintain records of all account activity within the sales database
  • Identify contacts in accounts and conduct strategic calls
  • Serve as the first line of contact with customers


Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum 2-4 years of successful business-to-business sales experience; one year of industry (IT/Technology) selling experience preferred
  • Understanding Cloud-based technologies, beyond simply Office 365, is a huge plus
  • Experience working with key decision-makers
  • Strong knowledge of sales, service, and administrative functions
  • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and/or Google GSuite
  • Requires a valid driver’s license along with the ability to operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis to get to and from client locations
